The Regional Veterinary Referral Center is a specialty referral center offering comprehensive services for dogs and cats from across the Springfield area in need of intensive care for complex health issues.

  • My dog experienced acute GVD and they received a very panic phone call from me because I did not know what was happening to him I just knew he was suddenly and extremely ill. The second I arrived, 3 people ran out, one grabbed my dog from the car and whipped him to emergency while others tended to me as I was extremely distraught. They were able to give an early diagnosis within 15 minutes, provide emergency care to make him comfortable and decrease the bloat, and then confirm that diagnosis very quickly via an X-ray.
