What to Expect at a Specialty Appointment in Springfield

Knowing what you can expect at your first appointment with us will help to make the process pleasant both for you and for your pet.

STEP 1
Get Settled

We ask that clients arrive around 10 minutes before their first appointment with any of our departments in order to take some time to review their pet's medical history with us and fill out any required paperwork.

STEP 2
Meet Your Board-Certified Specialist

One of the members of our specialty departments will review your pet's history and speak with you about their health issues. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions you want and we will be sure to take the time to address them.

STEP 3
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment

Once your pet has been assessed, we will provide you with a diagnosis and options for treatment. Your veterinary specialist will work with you to determine a treatment plan for your pet. After your visit, we will also contact your primary care veterinarian and provide a detailed written report about your appointment and treatment plan.
