Dr. Chen
Dr. Chen finished her veterinary degree in Taiwan. She practiced as a general practitioner for a few years before she passed the ECFVG (Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates) program in 2013.
She worked at Albany Animal Hospital in Oregon for nearly a year, completing 6 months of clinical training at Louisiana State University and was accepted as a general intern at Washington State University in 2016. Dr. Chen fell in love with Neurology in the first week of her neurology rotation. She stayed at Washington State University for one year of neurology training as a specialty intern. Dr. Chen came to BVNS in 2018 as a neurology intern and was later accepted into the BVNS residency program.
Outside of work and study, Dr. Chen likes to hang out with her cat Gigi (who is also from Taiwan). Dr. Chen enjoys cooking, painting, running and exploring fascinating places across the DC metro area.
