Dr. M. Idina O'Brien
Dr. O’Brien is a native New Yorker. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music performance from the Juilliard School. She received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania. She moved to the DC area for an internship at a local referral practice. She was recently profiled in the book Becoming a Veterinarian, published by Simon and Schuster as part of the masters at work series.
Her professional interests include endocrine and cardiovascular emergencies. Her personal interests are tennis; golf; seeing the next great broadway show, and waiting to celebrate the day the Yankees take home World Series #28. Her pets are 2 ShihTzu (Elle and Monty), and the ever-lovable Sally (who truly is the best dog…but somehow always finds new ways to get herself in trouble!)
