Head Emergency Critical Care Technician

We are currently seeking an Emergency Care Veterinary Technician VTS (ECC) with supervisory experience in both emergency and critical care to lead the nursing staff of our emergency/critical care unit. Our professional team consists of two criticalists, experienced clinicians and an excellently trained nursing staff. We are looking for individuals who enjoy responsibility and the opportunity to use and develop their skills to their maximum potential. It is an exciting chance to work as a patient advocate in a fun and challenging environment with a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with high standards for compassionate medical care, proficient technical skills and the ability and desire to teach others.

The Regional Veterinary Referral Center is located in Springfield, Virginia just outside of Washington, D.C. Our facility was founded on the concept that state-of-the-art medical and surgical care should be readily available to the general public for their pets. We are proud to offer an array of leading services in-house such as a variety of Board Certified Specialists, an on site MRI and helical CATScan, a linear accelerator for external beam radiation therapy and the headquarters for Radiocat, the nation’s leading I-131 feline hyperthyroidism treatment center. Our unique blend of specialists currently see referrals from the entire Mid-Atlantic region and right now we are the only facility in Virginia-Washington D.C.-Maryland area offering this range of services at one location.
